This is a 12x12 LO made using a photo taken by the lovely Lindsey aka Crafty Blonde. it was taken at Trimcraft HQ on Saturday at the end of a very enjoyable Bloggers Day to launch the new Trimcraft Blog.

If you are not familiar with the Trimcraft site please have a look.
I was kicking myself for forgetting to take my camera with me. Not a mistake I will repeat. There was so much that deserved to be photographed.
I have been a Trimcraft member since they first opened a website for crafters and have always felt a sense of loyalty to the brand. I was delighted to be chosen as part of their Design Team and now that I have met the Trimcraft staff and some other members of the DT my loyalty is now totally theirs. They are the nicest group you could ever wish to meet. The company is also extremely generous to its supporters and DT.

Autumn card
It has been a long time since I posted to my blog. Time to get going again. This is my latest card. It is an 8x8" easel card. Most of the leaves are diecuts from the dies that came with issue 11 Crafters Companion magazine. The large two are cuttlebug dies. The backing paper behind the owl image is from the 6x6" Falling Leaves pad by First Edition. The owl image and other elements arefrom my stash, I'm afraid all details have been lost in the mists of time.

squirrels in the park
Made this today using gold texture paste I got for £1 in a sale. I used some Tim Holtz masks and some sequin waste, plus a gears die, IndigoBlu word stamp and Tim Holtz clock die.

new folders
I recently bought these gorgeous Couture Creations folders and have been trying them out. The first two are embossed onto watercolour paper, and the other 2 are done on heavy foil cut from a foil food container. I have used watercolours and pens on the first two, and alcohol inks and permanent markers on the foil. I also added stickles onto the wings.

Wedding pic. LO.
I was given a 12x12 box frame (from The Range) and was finally inspired to fill it with this LO. I was glad to have found a way to display the roses without flattening them. The wedding was 1971. We eloped as we were finding it difficult to see each other as we lived far apart.( Scotland and London). We had tried to tell our folks that we didn't want a big white wedding, a long time in the future. They thought we were too young at 19. We are now 60 and still love oneanother.Friday, 13 January 2012
