altered clocks.

These are 2 small travel alarm clocks treated with alcohol inks. The first started off a dull silver colour and the smaller was clear plastic. They were easy to do. The first cost £2.99 from Wilkinsons and the second was £1 from Tesco.

LLB and decoupage.

My daughter gave me some LLB venaissance papers and vellums but I couldn't find an image I liked with them, so had a look in my decoupage box and found these. I was keen on decoupage for a while until i learned how to stamp but don't do many these days.

Men like flowers too.

I made this card for my OHs birthday. I wanted to see if flowers and gems would work on a male card and he loved it.

neverending card

I have been having a go at making a neverending card using the LLB Reto Rose papers. It was fun to do. Not difficult as long as you line it up exactly, but it does take a while to add all the papers etc.
Its for my daughter and son in laws anniversary.

Thank you to Sandra for this lovely award. I will have to think who to pass it on to.

Stamped linen bag.

This is a little lavender bag I made from a scrap of linen stamped with a stamp from the LLB Retro Rose stamp set and RR inks. I was surprised how easy it is to stamp onto fabric.

Gone fishing (again).

I am so pleased with this stamp I couldn't resist doing another card with it
I was a fishing "widow" for years before ill health forced my OH to give it up. I wrote this little poem many years ago.
Its hello to the course fishing season,
and goodbye to the men in my life.
Whatever the weather
they're off fishing together.
Oh, who'd be a fishermans wife!
And who'd be a fishermans mother,
for he's just as bad as his Dad.
He comes home from school.
Grabs rod, reel and spool
And its "see you at suppertime lad,"
I hope it amuses you.

Gone fishing

I couldn't resist this cute stamp. My brothers, son, and Dave (when he was fit) are all keen fishermen. So it will be used regularly.
The theme this week over on C.R.A.F.T. challenge blog is blue and brown fathers day cards.
