altered box.

I have been playing with this box which I got from the Range very cheaply. I began by giving it a coat of white (household emulsion paint) inside and out. Then I painted the exterior with tubes of bronze and gold acrylic which I got from an art dept. some time ago.The metal plate is a Tim Holtz die cut from take away tinfoil and then coated in versamark and liberally covered (2ce at least) and heat embossed with silver embossing powders. I then just went a bit mad with various stamps and highlighted some very sketchily with sakura shadow pens.

Fabulous project May - will have to look out for this at my local range next time I'm there.

I saw somewhere that The Range was coming to Lincoln. What a transformation. I love the way you just play around with paints, stamps etc. The finished project is always lovely. xx Doreen
